Duro was asked to come up with a concept to reinvigorate and breathe new life into chart illustrations. The purpose of this exercise is to identify what are the ways to create a more engaging and beautiful chart illustration without sacrificing the core function of the chart which is to provide clear information for users without distorting the facts. These examples are some of the preliminary attempts to create visual tone and feel for a bar chart.
